It’s unclear where donuts might land on the new food pyramid, but their delicious decadence makes them a perfect food group all their own! Holy Donuts (a traveling “donut mobile,” follow on Facebook for upcoming locations) was voted number one, offering delectable varieties like the Cinna-Yum and Peanut Butter Zebra. Wicked Sweet Bake Shop (3192 London Rd., Eau Claire) came in second, with a scrumptious selection — including their popular Horseshoe donut and the Raspberry Wedge. Voted third is Bloomer Bakery (1415 Main St., Bloomer), selling mouthwatering fare, such as the Blueberry Bismark and Cherry Chocolate Cake Donuts. Yum! —Pam Anderson
