The Brewing Projekt (1807 N. Oxford Ave., Eau Claire) was a hit from the time its first barrel rolled out: Its taproom officially opened in 2015, and the very next year it was voted the Valley’s best brewery in this very poll. On the strength of its anything-but-boring hoppy, fruity, and milkshake-y beers, it has earned that label in each subsequent poll. Beloved for everything from its original lager to the small-batch creations from the pilot brewery at the Leinie Lodge (124 E. Elm St., Chippewa Falls), Leinenkugel’s earns the No. 2 spot. Lazy Monk Brewing (97 W. Madison St., Eau Claire) draws beer lovers with its selection of traditional European brews and beyond. —Tom Giffey
