No matter what its corporate parent may do, Leinenkugel’s will always have a special place in the hearts (and glasses) of Chippewa Valley beer lovers, who for the second consecutive year selected Summer Shandy as their No. 1 favorite. This lemonade-flavored Weiss beer goes down easy during all four seasons. A seven-time champ, the Brewing Projekt’s Gunpowder IPA remains a contender for those who like their beer with a little more hoppy bite, while another beloved local classic, Lazy Monk Brewing’s Oktoberfest, rounds out the list of champions.
