The Stand In The Light Memory Choir has received attention for using the performance of music to help people experiencing memory loss, as well as their caregivers. For the third time in the three years of this category, the ensemble is voted Best Choir. A thread between the groups in first and second place is the person conducting the singers: Kate Larson, the founder of second-place Chorale NouvEAU, who also took sole helm of Stand In The Light in 2025. Another notable Chippewa Valley choral conductor, Dr. Jerry Hui, has now started to lead The Master Singers; they return here in third. —Luc Anthony
