Taking first place is Motherwind, a Midwest alt-rock band formed in August 2020 that began writing music during the pandemic and quickly earned a reputation for psychedelic riffs and primal, dance-worthy energy. Coming in second, ValleyKiL brings gritty grunge rock and an explosive stage presence, while staying deeply involved in all-ages community performances.
