What’s something that’s on loan for 11 months, a free year-round outdoor art exhibit the public can vote on? Why, it’s Sculpture Tour Eau Claire, of course! A walkable art exhibit that changes every year — with one piece per year becoming a permanent part of our city — how lucky are we to have it? Chalkfest is one of the most anticipated parts of summertime in Eau Claire, delivering a quarter-mile of positive, creativite community energy for all ages to take part in and enjoy. But, when it rains, it vanishes like an open bag of curds in the breakroom at work — so make sure to mark your calendars for the event! Colorblock Murals allow local artists to splash color across our city — including the joyful cowboy frog sat alongside Banbury Place and a walking trail. More cheer in our days? Yes, please. —Justine Childs
