My favorite season is fall so I have some big feelings about the best places to enjoy the crisp, too-short weather. I’ve been to all these spots, and voters called Ferguson’s Orchard (6470 Balsam Rd., Eau Claire) the No. 1 orchard to hit. Makes sense considering the ever-growing list of amenities it offers, from unique treats to a ton of activities for the kids and more. The Glass Orchard (130 Deerfield Rd., Eau Claire) is a gem, combining both its glass-fusing arts studio with its acreage of apple trees for a totally unique experience. Connell’s Family Orchard (19372 Cty Hwy OO, Chippewa Falls) has been around for so long, generations of my family have been going there for their apples, wine slushes, corn maze and more. —McKenna Scherer
