Grab a bouquet of locally-grown flowers, some fresh egg rolls or cup of coffee, and peruse the Phoenix Park pavilion for the best start to the day. For a taste of local history, head over to Leinenkugel’s Leinie Lodge (124 E. Elm St., Chippewa Falls)! Yes, the Lodge is still brewing, though the historic next-door brewery isn’t anymore. But you can still tour it! Just check out the Leinie Lodge website for tour dates, events and to see what’s on tap there. The Glass Orchard (130 Deerfield Rd., Eau Claire) is, genuinely, not your average orchard (though, none of our area’s orchards are average!). While in season, go snag a bag of fresh apples and see The Glass Orchard’s artists blowing glass, all in the same place! —McKenna Scherer
