Amid the overwhelming positivity of this poll we have to occasionally acknowledge that not all is perfect here in the Valley. We may not have bumper-to-bumper urban traffic, but certain stoplights can really chap the ol’ keister (as gramps used to say). For years, our readers have complained about the stoplights at Gateway Drive and Prill/Golf roads, which are sure to spike your blood pressure on your trip to Target. Speaking of Eau Claire’s south side, readers say the stoplights are nasty anywhere near the mall. Drivers also lament the lights at the intersection of Clairemont and Stein. Hey, have you tried to turn across traffic to get to Caribou? —Tom Giffey
