While Eau Claire has been ahead of the curve in being welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community for decades, drag performances have been on the rise in the last several years. Pulling ahead to first place this year for best drag performer is Khloe Wold, best known for hosting a wide array of drag events around the city as well as the ever-popular drag bingo at The Lakely. Ranking second is Devine Intervention, a queen with high energy, tons of charisma, and a [s]ass that won’t quit. New to the rankings this year in third is Taylor Ashton, a male entertainer/dancer, fashion designer, and all-around talented, and beloved mainstay of the drag scene. —James Johonnott
