Girls in Nature Camp

Calling all girls, ages 10 to 12 years old! Come join us for a fun-filled week at Beaver Creek. This week-long adventure camp for girls is designed to sample lots of outdoor activities. Activities might include but are not limited to kayaking, fishing, fire building, taking part in an official University or DNR study, compass and GPS use, hiking, journaling, habitat exploration, bird banding, star gazing and building bird houses. The week will culminate with an overnight tent camp-out on Thursday night with pick up at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.

Idle Empress is one of the newest indie-folk-rock bands to spring from the Chippewa Valley’s well of musical talent. Lauren Anderson leads this trio with her guitar-driven, emotive songs.
