The Adventurers - Youth Choir Camp

Join two of Eau Claire’s most experienced music educators, Cathy Reitz and Traci Ohlmann, on a journey of global proportions. Students will improve their singing abilities and their appreciation for music in its many forms as they work together. Girls in Nature Camp

Calling all girls, ages 10 to 12 years old! Come join us for a fun-filled week at Beaver Creek. This week-long adventure camp for girls is designed to sample lots of outdoor activities. Activities might include but are not limited to kayaking, fishing, fire building, taking part in an official University or DNR study, compass and GPS use, hiking, journaling, habitat exploration, bird banding, star gazing and building bird houses. The week will culminate with an overnight tent camp-out on Thursday night with pick up at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.

2016 Beaver Creek Butterfly Count

Join other butterfly enthusiasts for the annual Beaver Creek Reserve Butterfly count. Meet at the Wise Nature Center to review species likely to be seen; then get directions for the count and receive a route assignment. Most counters usually spend two to four hours counting, but you may count for as little as one hour or for most of the day if you wish.
