Chippewa Falls-based photographer Mike Howard has been exploring the photography world since the 1990s when he first shot on a film camera. Since then, he’s mastered the craft and shoots stunning landscapes, portraits, architecture, events, and live performances, all with vivid results. His talent has earned him a fifth year in a row at No. 1. Tina Ecker remains a top local fave, taking the No. 2 spot for a fifth year. Known for her landscape photography and incredible detail, Ecker’s black-and-white images showcase dramatic scenery and beauty. In third place is newcomer Taylen Lundequam. With a knack for stunning nature images, Lundequam also shoots portraits and landscapes. –McKenna Scherer
