Best Blues Band

Some of the Chippewa Valley’s best sounds are found in the bluest music. Returning to first place, The Sue Orfield Band (featuring tenor saxophonist Sue Orfield), is a seminal favorite musician across all of the Valley’s genres. Ranking in second is local blues mainstay Howard “Guitar” Luedtke and Blue Max; Luedtke’s signature ebony Gibson Les Paul guitar. In third place this year is Mojo Lemon, a blues band with a storied history in the Chippewa Valley, dating back decades. –James Johonnott
