There’s something to be said for consistency, and that’s what voters have found when it comes to leaders who help advance the Chippewa Valley. For the second consecutive year, the responses to this question were the same: Dr. Steve Kristo of Kristo Orthodontics takes first place, bringing smiles to the Valley both by straightening teeth and by generously supporting numerous causes. He’s followed by Dr. Selika Ducksworth-Lawton, a UW-Eau Claire history professor who works tireless on issues of justice and equality, and longtime Eau Claire City Councilman Andrew Werthmann, known for his progressive political views. –Tom Giffey
