Best Local Play (non-musical)

You might notice a trend in Best Local Play, with the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre taking the top two categories, as many other theaters’ lights went off amid the pandemic. Taking the stage by storm, “Clue: On Stage” (Eau Claire Children’s Theatre) managed to succeed, followed closely on little furry feet by “The Hobbit” (Eau Claire Children’s Theatre). The UW-Eau Claire Theatre’s pre-pandemic production of “Waiting for Godot” finds itself waiting in third place. –Parker Reed
