Local artists often don’t have the benefit of large budgets or limitless time in the studio, so each locally produced album is a labor of love. Garnering national attention for his eccentric music videos and positive mental health message, TeawhYB’s “What We Were” EP is a prime example of the quality of music that artists are able to achieve in the Chippewa Valley. Noah Estrada’s “To Whom It May Concern” and Spencer Douglas’ “Basement Covers” EP also show the pride local artists take in their work and area patrons’ eagerness to support talent when they see it. –Parker Reed
