A great taco contains multitudes. Nobody understands that better than Silly Serrano Mexican Restaurant (329 Riverfront Terrace, Eau Claire), who bring the heat with all their tortilla’d treats. And hey, Tuesdays through Fridays, you can get street tacos for a buck-fifty each. A good deal for a good meal. In second place, is the Valley’s favorite Mexican restaurant, Cancun Mexican Grill (four Chippewa Valley locations). Shrimp, chicken, steak, pork, sausage … however you stack ’em, Cancun’s got your taco fix covered. And finally, Tacos Juanita (2823 E. Hamilton Ave., Eau Claire) earned a well-deserved third place finish. Try their Birria tacos (with goat meat) and a cup of soup for something totally unique and delicious. –Eric Christenson
