You wouldn’t necessarily peg the Chippewa Valley as a hotspot for sushi, but if you know where to go, you can get some of the best rolls this side of the St. Croix. There are tons of options waiting for you at Ninja, which brings a deft hand to sashimi and Nigiri bites as well as a delectable slate of your favorite rolls. In the No. 2 spot is Shanghai Bistro (2930 Craig Road, Eau Claire), where you can get beautifully crafted rolls packed with flavor. Just down the road in what used to be a Wendy’s is secretly one of the best restaurants in Chippewa Falls, Sakura Japanese Restaurant (360 Chippewa Mall Drive).
