Grab you and your out-of-town friends a bunch of locally sourced goodies at the Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market (which bustles in Phoenix Park during the spring and summer and whose winter incarnation is at The Lismore Hotel). The Irvine Park Zoo and Nature Area is in the heart of Chippewa Falls, and is home to flora and fauna, both big and small. During winter the park is a wonderland of snowy pathways to explore. Out-of-town folks will love the Leinie Lodge and Brewery Tour (124 E. Elm St., Chippewa Falls).
