Best Use of Taxpayer Dollars Last Year
If there’s one thing folks aren’t too fond of, it’s paying taxes. But when that money goes to something like the CARES Act (last year’s big federal COVID-19 relief bill), we can sleep soundly at night knowing our hard-earned money is going to a good cause. In the same vein, providing quality public education to kiddos of the Valley feels right, as does funding the Eau Claire Police Department, which creates a safer community for everyone. –Rebecca Mennecke
