If there’s one thing readers consistently choose when asked about the “Biggest Thing We Should Make Happen Soon” – seven out of the past nine years! – it’s finally getting a Trader Joe’s around here. And who can blame them? Locals have also pushed for more affordable housing in the Chippewa Valley. Maybe this is the year it will finally arrive? Finally, while we have hundreds of restaurants in the Valley, many mouths are still watering for the taste of Chick-fil-A – but apparently we’re too “chicken” to make that happen. –Rebecca Mennecke
