Voted first place in our rankings for best place to putt around, Mt. Simon Park Course (1100 Addison Ave., Eau Claire) is a nine-hole course in a wooded range. It’s a great pick for a casual game, beginners, and intermediate players looking for a small challenge. You might even see a deer or two. The Leinenkugel’s Disc Golf Course at Casper Park (1025 W. Canal St., Chippewa Falls) maintains its rank in second. It has a challenging, wooded 18-hole course with uneven terrain. In third are the Tower Ridge Park Courses (County Road L, Eau Claire): Tower Ridge has two different 18-hole courses with plenty of difficult shots between narrow tree gaps. —James Johonnott
