All paws on deck! There is no shortage of ways to help adorable animals at the Eau Claire Community Humane Association (3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire), including dog walking, groundskeeping, housekeeping, working at events, fostering, doing laundry and dishes, and so much more. Get a group together to pack bulk food at Feed My People Food Bank (2610 Alpine Road, Eau Claire) on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays to take a stand against hunger. Finally, if you’re a dog person, come and play at Bob’s House for Dogs (E3015 County Hwy. HH, Eleva). Currently, they’re unable to take more volunteers (which is like, incredible?!) but you can always support any local nonprofit through monetary donations. —Rebecca Mennecke
