When people start clogging up the roads in search of subpar fried foods, we really have to wonder what’s the hype over chain restaurants opening. There are plenty of fan-freaking-tastic local options. And we get it: Bon Iver’s frontman Justin Vernon was born and raised in Eau Claire, but apparently readers have had enough. (Though, have you heard their latest EP, Sable? Just saying.) Finally, we’ve heard enough whining and complaining in the Eau Claire Foodies Facebook Group.
