Dogs and donuts seem a good ticket to winning. For example: Therapy dogs took the top two slots for Favorite Local Celebrity. Donut, the Altoona Police Department’s therapy dog, is once again in first place, followed by the police therapy dog just to the west, K9 Murphy from the Eau Claire Police Department. You could tell Keith Edwards’ popularity in the wake of being let go from WQOW; he is in third. Notably, for the first time since 2008, neither Justin Vernon nor Chris Kroeze appear in this category’s top three. –Luc Anthony
