And the Tony award goes to… well, OK, this might not be the Tony Awards, but a Best of the Chippewa Valley award is pretty cool, too … right? Right! The Eau Claire Children’s Theater’s production of Something Rotten! emerged as this year’s most popular local musical — bravo! The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild’s production of Bright Star jazz-squared its way into second place. Steve Martin and Edie Brickell would be proud. Third goes to another ECCT musical: Shrek!
