Founding Stories - Trubilt Collision Center - EST. 1949

Trained & certified in excellence

V1 Staff |

When Trubilt Auto Body was founded in 1949, it was a small shop with only two repair stalls.

In 1997, when owners Lynn and Jerry Salter purchased Trubilt Auto Body shop, they saw its potential to be one of the finest auto body repair shops in the Chippewa Valley.

Now, the family-owned business is one of the most reputable in northwestern Wisconsin, employing 25 employees between their two locations. Safe and proper repairs are ensured with technicians that are trained and certified by the vehicle manufacturers.

This past December, Jerry and Lynn’s children, Amy and Luke, decided to carry on the family trade, purchasing Trubilt from their parents. Their desire for growth is fueling Trubilt Collision Center for the future.

Trubilt plans to continue its legacy as the most progressive shop in the Chippewa Valley when it comes to repair standards. At the end of the day, the Trubilt team wants to make sure your vehicle is safe for your family – just as they would want for their own family. That’s what makes Trubilt the choice of the Chippewa Valley for over 70 years.
