Trailhead located in Augusta just off Hwy 12/27 on Stone St.

21 miles - Approximately 21 miles roundtrip with alternate loops. Mostly easy but a few steep hills. It's a scenic route that follows along a lightly traveled road and is perfect for a family bicycle outing. Available year round and no pass is required.

Stanley Area Historical Society Museum

228 Helgerson Street, Stanley

Dedicated to preserving the history of the area by the collecting of historical artifacts and written materials and by educating the public through displays and programs. Recognizes the contribution lumberjacks, farm families, and carpenters made to Stanley's settlement and growth. Open Saturday-Sunday, 1-4pm.

The Stone Barn offers a selection of pizza specialties, including a weekly rotating special and a build your own option. Pizzas are $20-30 and serve 2-3 people. Stoney Acres Pizza Farm

Stoney Acres certified organic farm serves a "Wisconsin" 16 inch pizza made from ingredients grown on-site and locally. They feature your favorite pizza classics, rotating specials, and special orders. Fri & Sat, 4:30-8:30pm, early April through early November. Their pizza events have live music, and their brew their own beer (hops grown onsite) served in a beer hall and beer garden.

Suncrest Gardens serves a wide variety of classic, seasonal, and speciality pizzas in a low-frills, casual setting. BYO picnic supplies. Pizzas served in a "green box" that breaks down into plates. Their menu includes beverages, desserts, and appetizers. Pizza season is Fri (4-8pm) and Sat (3-8pm) early May through Early October. They have live music, and also offer lodging for a weekend getaway.

Easy to Moderate difficulty. Wide trails double as ski and horseback riding trails. Some trails are very hilly. Offers spectacular views of the Eau Claire River Valley. $3 daily pass/seasonal. Drive east from Eau Claire on Cty Rd Q and then south on L. Go past first parking lot (for disc golf players) to the second lot (road to it on left side of L).

Trail From Boyd Park to Archery Park

Eau Claire

Difficulty: Moderate. This small short trail winds along a small bluff bordering Eau Claire’s east side neighborhood. Nice scenic spots where you look straight down to the Eau Claire River. Trail starts in a meadow. It is rocky underfoot in some sections. Directions: From downtown Eau Claire or from Hastings Way, take Main Street and turn north on Summer Street. Park near the pavilion in Boyd Park.

Valley Golf & Events

S 80 Golf Road, Mondovi

Valley Golf is nestled in the rolling hills of Buffalo County. Originally a 9-hole course, it's been reborn as a full 18 hole course, each with their own personality. The elevated hills offer great views of the golf course and its picturesque landscape. The clubhouse can accommodate up to 350 people for events. Affordable green fees, pro shop, and well-maintained grounds.

Wakanda Park - Disc Golf

Wakanda Park Rd. and Pine Ave. E, Menomonie

18 holes, 5,545 feet, par 65. Wakanda Park is a challenging course with a good variety of open and wooded shots, as well as water hazards. There is also a good mix of short and long holes. The park also has baseball diamonds and basketball courts.
