Milwaukee Burger Company

Milwaukee Burger is a beef hand-patting, fresh fry-cutting, sauce-creating kind of place (with really big, really good cheese curds). They have happy hours Monday-Friday 3-6pm and 9pm-close, and Saturday/Sunday 9pm-close, and have expanded their taps to a staggering 40 options. Their enormous Bloody Marys are ranked among the best by our readers, and they offer six different styles, including the Big Mil Bloody, garnished with a mini-cheeseburger, bacon, and cheddar cheese. Popcorn is free, and darts are available. Food served after 10pm on Friday and Saturday.

Stella Blues

Stella Blues' lineup of imbibables is impressive to say the least. There are 21 constantly rotating taps, a monstrous specialty drink list with about 50 martinis and margaritas to choose from, numerous wine options, and the amazing Cajun menu. Happy hour is 4-6pm every day. They have an outdoor patio and a great party room with full bar that holds about 190. Closed Sundays.

Galloway Grille

Whether you pull up a seat at a high table, a booth, the patio, or right up at the bar, you'll know Galloway Grille for its historic downtown decor and menu of pub fare. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have 15 ever-changing taps and specialty beers on hand. Get your happy hour taps from 2-6pm every day, or order half-price appetizers at the bar 2-5pm Tuesday through Friday. Party room can hold about 25 people.

Draganetti's Ristorante

While the restaurant is known for fine Italian dining, the bar at Drag's is known for a comfortable, old-school lounge feel marked by low lighting and stools plus expertly mixed cocktails like the famous old-fashioned. Happy hour is 4-6pm, Monday through Thursday. Outdoor patio, four taps, three specialty beers, party room that holds 40.
