What are you wearing? I am wearing a black romper probably from Kohl’s as well as my fun little shoes. My black boots are from Kohl’s. My earrings, these are super old. I got from a little boutique store somewhere in the Cities, probably a good 15 years ago. I don’t remember the store, but I pull them out only on super special occasions. So simple outfit, but I wanted to glam it up with the earrings. They’re super fun.

If you had to wear one piece of this outfit for the rest of your life ... it would probably be the earrings, because rompers are hard for everyday wear.

Describe your style: Pretty classic with a couple minor trends thrown in here and there. I don’t like to be super trendy, so I’ll just mix in a couple things for the season once in a while.

What is the soundtrack or theme song to your outfit? I’m a rocker, so I’m gonna say Audioslave “Like A Stone” – pretty solid, right?

What fiber or material would you never wear? Anything itchy, burlap, or anything that’s gonna show sweat a lot in the summer.

How does your outfit reflect the Chippewa Valley? It’s breezy and cool like this evening for Grand Evening on the Bridge.

What are you wearing? The jeans are Levi Silvertabs – they stopped making them in the early 90s so I really lucked out finding them. The jacket is from another thrift store in Minneapolis. It’s a Sears, Roebuck jacket. The hat, I just needed a ball cap so I ordered it off Amazon. The scarf I made. I made it with yarn that was dyed by a local company, Darn Yarn MN. I got it at Blue Boxer Arts, and the pattern’s just a free pattern online.

If you had to wear one piece of this outfit for the rest of my life ... Hopefully it’s the boots. They’re Chippewa Boot Company. I know they do really good things with repairs and servicing. I got them on sale, and I just needed a good pair of boots for the winter and just for everyday outfits.

Describe your style: I like to change it up. My staples are things made from denim, things that are sturdy and vintage, just because they tend to last a long time. The longer you have a piece of clothing, the more ways you learn to wear it.

How does your outfit reflect the Chippewa Valley? Well, my boots are from the Chippewa Boot Company, so they’re true local. Otherwise a lot of my outfit is thrifted. I feel like that’s a value that’s starting to take root in the Chippewa Valley – slow fashion vs. fast fashion. You see that with places like Good and Sturdy and Red’s Mercantile. People are looking for things they can find, pick up, and put new life into.

What are you wearing? I am wearing a Marc Anthony ensemble with Kenneth Cole boots and belt. 

If you had to wear one piece of this outfit for the rest of my life ...  it would definitely be my shoes because they’re super comfortable and they seem to go with just about anything.

Describe your style: I like that business casual, five o’clock, after hours kind of business guy look, I guess.

What is the soundtrack or theme song to your outfit?  “Alright Now” by Free, that’s pretty laid back, yet it gets the party going.

What fiber or material would you never wear? … burlap, is that a fabric? I don’t know.

How does your outfit reflect the Chippewa Valley? I think it’s kind of just unique and its own style yet classy. That’s the Chippewa Valley.
