The best part of the Valley is the people (a fact, based on personal experience). The kindness of the Valley is best met with strangers at Events at Phoenix Park. Sure to meet a new friend (or a friend of a friend of a friend), the music, lights, and good vibes are sure to uplift any mood. Next, my personal favorite, The Joynt (322 Water St., Eau Claire) has the atmosphere and the charm of your classic midwestern bar. It’s great for talkin’ and a round of pool with new and old faces. Coming in third this year, Scooter’s Bar (411 Galloway St., Eau Claire) is bound to be friendly with karaoke and dancing all night long. –Kelly Carlson
