The Chippewa Valley has a plethora of wonderful parks around every corner, with Irvine Park and Zoo in Chippewa Falls always a favorite. Check out the zoo, play at one of the playgrounds, or take a walk on one of the many trails (seriously, it’s much bigger than you’d think). In Eau Claire, Carson Park has plenty to offer, whether you’re looking for a large playground, walking trails, or a train ride through the woods. Phoenix Park in Eau Claire hosts the ever-popular farmer’s market in the summer, as well as the Sounds Like Summer concert series. –Briana Novacek
