Whether rain or shine, snow or sleet, even a tornado might not keep traffic off of the busy Eau Claire roads. Here lies the worst intersections for Pedestrians. Hastings Way (by Walgreens and CVS) is a load of fun, where the busy Hastings Way meets Brackett Avenue, making it nearly impossible to keep your trek across town reasonable. The intersection of Clairemont and Stein gives you a fun mix of constant traffic from all directions, with a hint of confusion as to who may (or may not) stop. Given its location near the CVTC and UWEC campuses, this is a popular route for students, though very possibly, the least exciting. In third is the intersection of Highway 93 & Hamilton near Festival Foods. In the midst of a business district we find eight lanes of torture. This naturally unsafe intersection brings plenty of fear, no matter what way you may be crossing. –Devon Verbsky
