Musical performances come and go, and each year there’s so many good ones to pick from. Normally, this category turns into a celebration of big names on big festival stages, but this year readers picked some pretty awesome local gigs at their favorites. And that’s cool! In first place was the perennial appearance of blues stars Mojo Lemon at Tuesday Night Blues in Owen Park, who bring big energy and good vibes every summer. In second place comes a unique stage show called Postmodern Jukebox which brought vintage-inspired pop hits to the Pablo stage. And coming in third was local favorites Them Coulee Boys for their Die Happy album release party at the Pablo Center back in August. – Eric Christenson
