'ALL NIGHT LONG.' The 2027 Hoofbeat music festival – slated for June 24-26 at the Cadott festival grounds – will celebrate the return of Rascal Flatts; one of two headliner acts announced this past weekend. The trio, comprised of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney, last performed at Hoofbeat in 2015 (pictured above) and will return to the Valley with "a catalog built for a full-field singalong."

The 2027 iteration of Hoofbeat will act as more of a “homecoming” for the legendary Rascal Flatts, as the trio returns to headline next summer’s festivities from June 24-26 at the Cadott festival grounds.

Next summer, the longtime country music celebration will commemorate its landmark “40 Years Wild” anniversary in the Chippewa Valley, an occasion which pays homage to the festival’s early days;  founded in 1987.

While many describe Rascal Flatts as a defining force in the country-rock genre across generations, the group's return marks its first time back in the Valley since their 2015 appearance at Hoofbeat (then known as Country Fest).

Fans can surely expect a catalog built for a singalong, including “Life Is a Highway,” “Bless the Broken Road,” “My Wish,” “Fast Cars and Freedom,” “Summer Nights,” among many others at next summer’s event.

Joining the 2027 roster is Parker McCollum, set to make his Hoofbeat debut. McCollum hails from the Lone Star State of Texas and will arrive on the heels of his “Album Of The Year” win at the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards his self-titled record, a recent media release stated.

“We wanted to kick off this anniversary with artists who represent both where country music is headed and the songs that have been part of people’s stories for the last 40 years,” Wade Asher,  Hoofbeat festival promoter, said.

The third headliner for Hoofbeat 2027 will be announced later this fall, alongside the full bill, the media release says.

Early fans on-site at the 2026 iteration of the country fest were able to secure access to VIP and Reserved Lawn Tickets for the 2027 festival. Remaining tickets for these two tiers will be released to the general public at 9am on June 30, online at hoofbeatfestival.com.
