One Love Revival, a new spiritual community in Eau Claire, fosters a safe and sacred space for those who value divine interconnection, admire human connection, and find strength through self-care rituals.
Faith Freedlund, founder and creator of One Love Revival, wanted to build upon the work of similar groups in Eau Claire. She was inspired by events like Eau Claire's Unity Groove, which took place last September and provided a space for people to experience love and joy together. Freedlund's vision for One Love Revival was to expand on this concept and create more opportunities for such gatherings in the local community.
One Love Revival gatherings occur every other Sunday from 4pm to 7pm at the Unity of Eau Claire center (1808 Folsom St, Eau Claire) — with the next gathering on April 27 — These meetings offer a dedicated space for individuals seeking connection and open to collaborative and expansive discussions.
Whether we are working on mind, body, spirit, or just having a good time – we're feeling alright because we're together. –Faith Freedlund, founder of One Love Revival
Freedlund believes mindfulness and self-exploration can manifest uniquely for each individual. She strives to embrace diverse paths and encourage dialogue on building a more peaceful world within the diverse community that attends One Love Revival events.
“Whether we are working on mind, body, spirit, or just having a good time — we're feeling alright because we're together,” Freedlund said. “There is a lot of power in just being in the presence of those who desire to be intentional with their day-to-day (lives).”
One Love Revival intends to facilitate dialogue surrounding the meditative processes of song, dance, writing, yoga, and prayer, both before and after they are practiced. The organization's goal is to better understand how these methods can assist in achieving their overall objectives: sharing stories to build a more peaceful community and world.
The community hosted a clothing swap on Sunday, April 6, to embody the group's guiding principles. This event provided a fun, sustainable, and heartwarming opportunity to connect with others and refresh wardrobes for spring, Freedlund said.

The seven guiding principles of the community are collaboration, prayer, meditation, music & movement, arts, collective service, and healing reflection. These principles are outlined in pamphlets given to attendees and encourage mindfulness in daily life.
Freedlund said those who attend One Love Revival gatherings can experience the transformative power that establishing a sense of community can have.
In the end, the group respects everyone who is on their own personal journey to heal, find inspiration, and connect with their deeper sense of self and truth.
“When you're showing up to One Love Revival, you're showing up for yourself,” Freedlund said. “No matter where you are on your journey, no matter whether you're questioning, just starting out, wanting to expand — we welcome you with huge open arms.”
