The Roadmap To Holistic Health Begins With Wholistic Nutrition
personalized consultations offer inclusive solutions for chronic illnesses, symptoms

Empowering shifts towards wellness for all ages, Wholistic Nutrition — an Altoona whole body health office — crafts personalized roadmaps addressing root causes while working toward a non-toxic, holistic lifestyle.
For Becky Witt, co-founder of Wholistic Nutrition, the journey toward balance in health and fitness began long before the launch of her business. After years of gut health struggles — with no direct solution in sight — her personal wellness journey offered a pathway towards ultimate balance.
As she witnessed the positive effects of integrating Western medicine with holistic nutrition — and a wealth of knowledge learned along the way — the business model of Wholistic Nutrition soon took shape.
“Our body doesn’t operate in compartments, it operates as a whole,” Witt said. “Nutrition is (our) foundation, but we have to look at the body as a whole, what's all affecting it, and how it's all working together.”
The business opened in 2019 as a single office, growing organically over time, Witt shared. To accommodate this increase in capacity, Wholistic Nutrition moved to a River Prairie business suite in May of last year (3085 Meadowlark Ln #20, Altoona), its current location.

Three additional health coaches joined the Wholistic Nutrition team over the years: Brooke Nyangda, Paige Wieker, and Codi Traaseth. Decades of health expertise support their services through Wholistic Nutrition, with each health coach holding prior registered nurse roles in diverse fields. This experience has been enhanced further, by the team’s combined certifications and trainings as holistic health, nutrition, and integrative consultants.
“Our goal is to prevent things before they happen,” the health coaches shared. “We're looking for imbalances, deficiencies, stuff that is deeper in the body that are leading to symptoms.”
First-time clients at Wholistic Nutrition are welcomed with a free one-hour consultation, used to get to know the person and their individualized health needs. The health coaches will discuss your medical history, past and present symptoms, environmental conditions, family genetics, and more.
Most importantly, this free consultation helps the health coaches identify potential root causes, put the pieces together, and identify helpful solutions.

“Everybody’s symptoms are different, everybody’s past is different,” Witt said. “In that free consultation we can talk for an hour; get to know (the client), get to know why they're here, and also put pieces together for them.”
Health coaches at Wholistic Nutrition currently customize service packages for chronic conditions like hormonal and gut imbalances, weight health, allergens, anxiety, various skin conditions, and mold toxicity; the health coaches also offer services for infants and children.
The service packages include follow-up visits every four to six weeks and additional lab testing to help clients discover what is ailing them below the surface, the health coaches said.
Examples of lab tests offered through Wholistic Nutrition follow-up visits include but are not limited to vitamins and minerals, stool testing, food sensitivity testing, hormone testing, bloodwork, gut imbalances, detoxification, total toxic load and many more.
The cost of lab testing is included in most packages, which can operate on a six month interest-free payment plan. According to Wholistic Nutrition’s package brochure, HSA and FSA account payments may be accepted to cover the costs of specialized packages, subject to individual providers’ approval.
The journey toward a life in balance doesn’t end once your chronic symptoms subside, the health coaches assured. Wholistic Nutrition's health coaches are committed to long-term client relationships, serving all age groups and families spanning generations.
"We just love the class aspect, because community members get to know each other and we form that sense of community. That education piece is just a huge part of (Wholistic Nutrition) for us – we can't expect people to change if they don't know the 'why' behind it."
This dedication takes shape through their ongoing community initiatives, retail offerings and collaborations with local holistically minded businesses.
"We love teaming up with other local businesses to fully support (the client)," the health coaches said. "Being a resource for other things in the community is a huge part of what we (at Wholistic Nutrition) do too."
Once a year, the Wholistic Nutrition team hosts a Community Appreciation event, where residents of the Chippewa Valley are welcome to get to know their health coaches and discover what services might be helpful to their optimal health journey. This event — along with their series of free classes titled Ask The Practitioners — are just one small way to offer affordable services to community members, with a big impact.

Customers can walk into the office for a one-stop-shop experience — where they are greeted to a wide display of toxic-free products, often tested by the health coaches themselves.
Dietary supplements, eco-friendly cosmetics, cruelty-free personal care items, food and beverage selections, and child-friendly insect repellants are just a glimpse into the business’ diverse inventory.
“There are so many additives, fillers, and chemicals that are put into our food system — products, snacks, protein bars, everything,” the health coaches said. “(Our retail) can help people to start navigating a healthier lifestyle before they're doing two or three (follow-up) visits.”
As its services and community engagement expands, Wholistic Nutrition will continue to provide solutions designed to move people closer and achieve their health goals: identify the underlying causes of illnesses and symptoms through personalized consultations and holistic lifestyle adjustments.
“We just focus on taking care of the person right in front of us, then taking care of the next person, and it just evolves from there,” Witt said. “There’s no such thing as perfection (in health and wellness) — it’s a balance that looks different for every body.”
