Health Care Gets Helping Handbook

Caitlin Heidbrink

UW-Eau Claire’s Dr. Jonathon R.B Halbesleben edited Handbook of Stress and Burnout in Health Care, which focuses the challenging environment for health care providers. Just released this past August by Nova Publishers, the Handbook guides readers through the research done on the causes and conditions of this issue. It not only focuses on the idea of burning out in this country, but also expands the issue internationally, with a collection of many different perspectives. In addition, the Handbook deals with preventative measures that have been founded by previous research. Halbesleben is an assistant professor of management and marketing and hopes this book draws attention to this issue and provides a cohesive material from all the studies that have been done.
