FLIRTING WITH FARMING: Farming Workshop Created to Introduce Farming to You and Your Sweetie
The Division of Extension UW-Madison Extension Chippewa and Buffalo County offices in partnership with Security Financial Bank is hosting this event on July 8

Why give your partner flowers, when you can give them a whole garden? If you and your partner have thought about getting into the agriculture business, but you’re not sure where to get started, the Division of Extension UW-Madison, Extension Chippewa, and Buffalo County offices in partnership with Security Financial Bank are hosting an event called Agricultural Romance: Flirting with Farming.
Agricultural Romance: Flirting with Farming will be held on July 8 and will cover farming topics such as enterprise budgets, tax issues, and the relationship (or situationship) you’ll have with a vendor. Entry cost is $15 and will include lunch as well as refreshments and resource materials. The workshop will take place at the Autumn Harvest Winery in Chippewa Falls.
There will be speakers from local agriculture with education backgrounds such as Carl Duley, Jerry Clark, and Katie Wantoch. There will also be human development and relationship educators, Jeanne Walsh and Kristin Woodard.
