Can You Hear It? It Sounds Like Summer
we’re ready for more sunny, summery local tunes in Phoenix Park

Thirteen summers ago, the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series was born in the heart of Phoenix Park. What started as a fun way to celebrate our beautiful park and hard-working local musicians has blossomed into a full-scale community mainstay. You’d think it would get a little exhausting throwing this thing every week, year after year, but as soon as temps start to heat up and the sun starts shining, we can’t help but feel that spark of excitement for Thursday nights. And – beginning Thursday, June 7 – we hope you feel it, too. And wow, this year is gonna be a great one. We’ve got the best of the best local musical acts lined up including returning favorites – Jim Pullman Band, Them Coulee Boys, Picard, Idle Empress – and exciting newcomers like Orchid Eaton, Chamber Noise, and Wealthy Relative. (Look below for the full lineup.) This is seriously some of the most fun we have all year, and we’re really lucky so many of you are down to join us week after week. It’s gonna be a great summer filled with killer local tunes. We want to quickly thank everyone who has come out to the concert series time and time again over the last 12 years and made it one of the coolest things about being in Eau Claire every summer. So thanks! We’ll see you out there.
