Eau Baby (Eau Claire)
A mom who sought out fun shopping experiences for both parent and child: this is the foundation of Eau Baby (3834 Talmadge Rd., Eau Claire) which opened in 2022. Just a few years later, the boutique continues to offer a wide range of clothing options — specifically targeted toward infants and young children. Premie baby clothes and two-years-and-under clothing are Eau Baby’s specializations — along with maternity and postpartum clothing for adults too.

“We take what kids have outgrown and sell for local families.” The longtime owners — The Schwartz family — of That’s Adorable! Children's Boutique (129 N Barstow St., Eau Claire) has held this goal close since 2008. With options to shop both online and in-person — including consignment and vending for gently-used items — families are sure to find something new each week at the boutique. That’s Adorable! roots its values in environmentally-friendly options in children’s clothing, shoes, and even toys and books.
Sew Unique Boutique (Chippewa Falls)
A warm welcome is due for another handmade goods boutique in the Chippewa Valley: Sew Unique Boutique — housed within Market On River (128 W River St., Chippewa Falls) – recently opened up in its own space. Chelsey Lavelle, the owner of Sew Unique Boutique, offers a customizable “mommy-and-me” clothing line with dresses, onesies and clothing for all ages. The boutique is also host to both made-to-order and ready-to-ship clothing for infants as young as 0-3 months to adult 4XL sizes. “We don't just sell clothes; we craft stories, memories, and individuality in every garment,” Chelsey shared to followers online. Sew Unique Boutique offers items for little ones, including patterned pajamas and daywear onesies which feature beloved animated television characters.
Planette Kids (Eau Claire)
Since 2023, Jill Heinke Moen, owner and operator of Planette Kids (100 N Farwell St., Suite 116, Eau Claire) has continued an environmentally and socially conscious mission through her clothing store for babies and big kids alike. At Planette Kids, there’s sure to be a pattern style for every adventure your child embarks on, with clothing items catered toward all seasons — from baby-sized puffers for Wisconsin's chilly winters to lightweight baby bloomers for summer. Jill frequently partners with other local businesses in downtown Eau Claire, including Seven Suns Vintage. Together, they've launched a “vintage children’s pop-up” at the shop, providing timeless “miniature” pieces that each carry a story from the past.
