The greatest gift anyone can give from is their time and care. Volunteering is an amazing way to give this gift, and there are many options in the Chippewa Valley. Bob’s House for Dogs (E3015 County Hwy. HH, Eleva) is a dog shelter helping over 100 dogs each year. Starting with a dog named Bob, this group has come a long way since 2009, and is always looking for volunteers. Feed My People Food Bank (2610 Alpine Road, Eau Claire) supports the community by providing food and hope to many. Volunteers are always helpful in ensuring food are supplied to agencies across west-central Wisconsin. The Eau Claire County Humane Association (3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire) gives animals second chances, and is always in need of volunteers no matter what the case. With a number of flexible options, any time given is graciously appreciated. –Devon Verbsky
