An Eau Claire kid at her roots, McKenna Scherer graduated from Winona State University in 2022 with a B.A. in mass communication - journalism, public relations, and film studies. Coming to V1 after four years on staff at Winona State’s student newspaper, leaving the publication as editor-in-chief, she is excited to re-integrate into her ever-evolving hometown at the publication she grew up with. Also, she just really missed Wisconsin. Sorry, Minnesota. Go Packers.
