"Episode I lit up the soil… so The Caretakers of the hayfield are expanding the cosmic timeline." The Chippewa Valley's emerging electronic dance music (EDM) festival has unveiled the 2026 lineup for "Force Fields: Episode II," with signals a new chapter of interstellar offerings.

Following its 2025 debut at the Cadott festival grounds (24447 County Hwy S), "Force Fields: Episode II – The Resonance Effect" will return to the Chippewa Valley this next summer from June 5-6.

"After a powerful first year that saw GA+ and VIP ticket types sell out, Force Fields quickly established itself as more than a new EDM festival," a release shared. "It became a gathering place rooted in connection, inclusivity, and high-caliber production."

Last year confirmed what we hoped but couldn't fully know until it happened, that Force Fields would resonate with people in a real way. –Wade Asher, Force Fields promoter

Following the lead of the inaugural festival, visuals and iconography for Force Fields: Episode II are designed to continue building a narrative for both in-person attendees and music fans.

"As the second year dawns at Force Fields, the mysterious relationship between Cadott and its otherworldly visitors continues to evolve," the festival hosts teased. "Last festival, we discovered that we were not alone. The alien ships arrived not with destruction, but with deep, rhythmic beats, and they had more to offer than just music. Their presence began to alter the very fabric of life around us."

Headlining artists throughout the festival weekend include Zeds Dead, Tape B and San Holo on June  5 – with Ganja White Night, LSDREAM and Clozee performing on June 6.

Zeds Dead, a Canadian-based music duo – known for genre-melding EDM tracks who rose to fame in the early 2010s – will bring experimental house, hip-hop and bass music to Force Fields: Episode II.

Locals immersed in the regional EDM scene might recognize DOKTOR, Silver C, Ascension, Orbiix among other localized acts to the Chippewa Valley region who will once again perform at the festival grounds this summer.

The 2025 festival kicked off with a pre-party and the same will be true for 2026. Free to all ticket holders, "First Contact" on June 4 will feature setlists from Of The Trees, Fly among other artists.

"Last year confirmed what we hoped but couldn’t fully know until it happened, that Force Fields
would resonate with people in a real way," Wade Asher, a promoter for the Force Fields festival said. "Episode II lets us lean into that momentum and continue building a world that feels welcoming, intentional, and unforgettable."

General admission tickets are on sale now, starting at $89/person (before ticketing fees) with additional ticketing tiers for VIP access and the "Space Lounge," with all-you-can-eat and-drink offerings. Campsites are also available to purchase for $80/site; attendees are then able to set up their space as early as the Wednesday prior to the festival.

Join the Chippewa Valley as we all take one first step into the unknown and celebrate the electronic symphony that will transform the Cadott festival grounds... and welcome its new extraterrestrial visitors.
