Believe us, we understand. After a long winter, Chippewa Vallians can get impatient for the arrival of summertime – the warm sunshine, the cool water, the hot tunes. As soon as the ice starts to melt, people start asking us about the Sounds Like Summer Concert Series. Is it happening? (Yes, yes it is!) What’s the lineup? (Keep reading, folks!)

Now that summer-like temperatures are beginning to arrive, it’s the perfect time to unveil the lineup for the 16th annual concert series, which will begin at 6pm Thursday, June 2, at Phoenix Park in beautiful downtown Eau Claire. For 13 consecutive Thursdays, you and a few thousand of your closest friends can enjoy some of the Valley’s best musicians amid the grass and boulders at the Phoenix Park Labyrinth, grab a bite to eat from one of the food vendors, and peruse the tents of sponsors, nonprofit groups, and even Volume One and The Local Store.
