“AN A(MAIZE)ING BOUNTY” (2026) • Photography • About the cover: “Wisconsin may be known as America’s Dairyland, but we also honor another agricultural triumph: the miles of cornfields which surround the Chippewa Valley. In celebration of our cherished summertime traditions, with the help of V&V Nails in downtown Eau Claire, we present a snapshot of the very best summer has to offer: baseball games at Carson Park; Wisconsin’s native state flower, the violet; pine treescapes and sunny skies; the summer soundtrack of music in the Phoenix Park labyrinth. These glimmers of summer fun are just a few Easter eggs featured on the nail designs pictured on the cover, along with those stubborn silk strands from a pile of locally-sourced corn.”
