Wisconsin Bike Week is fast approaching, and with it, a vibrant lineup of local festivities. Riders of every style are invited to embrace a shared sense of unity and outdoor spirit by hitting the road.
From May 31 through June 6, avid local cyclists and curious riders – from Community for Outdoor Recreation, Biking, and Adventure (CORBA), Eau Claire Youth Cycling (ECYC), City of Eau Claire Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) and more – will host one-time and recurring events as early as 6am through 7pm.
The theme for 2026 –“Bikes Build Community” – highlights how “cycling connects neighbors, supports local businesses, improves public health and creates stronger, more vibrant communities throughout Wisconsin,” the Wisconsin Bike Fed writes.
As with previous years of Bike Week in the Valley, community organizations, businesses, schools, local governments and residents are encouraged to host happenings and promote safe riding in their neighborhoods and on the trails.

We caught up with Nicole Billings, the co-director of the Valley Girls cycling club and member of BPAC, who illuminated a few of the 2026 Bike Week highlights from the complete schedule.
“There truly is something for everyone whether you’re a seasoned cyclist, a commuter, a family with kids, or someone getting back on a bike for the first time in years,” Billings said. “We’re especially excited about two new additions this year: ‘Bike to School Day’ and the ‘Bike Organization Meet & Greet.’ ”
Both events – in addition to the dozen-plus other experiences – are aimed to strengthen connections in the local cycling community and make biking feel more accessible for all experience levels, she added.
