LET’S GET IT STARTED IN HERE: Entrepreneurs Invited to Startup Chippewa Valley Week
more than a dozen local events focus on building new businesses
Startup Chippewa Valley Week, the largest entrepreneurship event in the region, will return Nov. 13-16 with more than a dozen events aimed at entrepreneurs and their supporters.
The weeklong series of events is meant to increase awareness surrounding the local startup ecosystem as well as to inspire and equip the community to celebrate and support the local entrepreneurial spirit.
The sixth annual Startup Chippewa Valley Week – which is part of Startup Week Wisconsin – is financially supported by Royal Credit Union, as well as Chippewa Valley Technical College and the Chippewa Economic Development Corp.
Startup Chippewa Valley Week will feature more than 15 in-person events – most of them free – focused on connecting, educating, and celebrating entrepreneurs of all types. More than a dozen community partner organizations are leading the workshops, panels, networking events, and discussions that will provide training, skills, and development opportunities for participants.

Musky Tank Mixer – Gear-up finances before meeting with lender or investor • Tuesday, Nov. 14, 6:30pm • Helix Wine, Craft Bar & Cafe (1444 Front Porch Place, Altoona)
Legal Issues Surrounding Business Startups • Wednesday, Nov. 15, 3pm • Presented by Ruder Ware, hosted at CoLab (131 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire)
