For grades 6-8. A day camp and overnight camp experience to introduce middle school students to STEAM experiences and get a taste of life on a college campus.

UW-Stout Summer Steam Experience

Join one or two weeks of science, tech, engineering, art, and math enrichment and experiences. For grades 9-12. Overnight and day camp options available. Highlights the value of creative and critical thinking. Tracks include Video Game Design, 3D Animation, Video Production, Web Design, 3D Printing, & Digital Storytelling.

WeHaKee Camp for Girls

At WehaKee Camp for Girls, girls age 7-17 will have fun, create friendships with girls from around the United States and the world, and discover the gifts within themselves. 40+ creative, active, and water activities to enjoy including horseback riding, water skiing, dancing, roasting marshmallows, and so much more all while building great relationships. Also hosts the WeHaKee Leadership Academy for high school girls.

Wilderness Pursuit Horseback Adventures

Camps are week-end stays, Saturday through Sunday. Camps consist of cabin stays with emphasis on nature and horses Cabins are comfortable and cozy, log-sided sleeping cabins. Gentle, well trained Horses. A Picnic Shelter and small lodge is used for meals and visitation.

Wilson Place Mansion

101 Wilson Circle, Menomonie

Wilson Place was built in 1859 by Capt. William Wilson, a principal in Knapp, Stout, & Co. lumber company, founder and first mayor of Menomonie, and the area's first state senator. Three generations of Wilsons remade it from a colonial house to a Queen Anne-style mansion to a Mediterranean villa. Call for admission rates and tour times.

Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum

312 N. Front St., Spooner

Featuring displays comprised of canoes and canoe related ephemera, plus a 2500 square foot canoe shop. This eclectic assemblage of boats is exciting in its diversity, and includes significant craft from the golden age of North American canoeing as well as work by important contemporary builders.

Wisconsin Logging Museum

1110 Carson Park Drive, Eau Claire

Take a step back into time when you visit the Wisconsin Logging Museum. Begin your tour with an introductory movie on logging in the 1890s and then visit their barn, blacksmith shop, cook shanty, bunkhouse, and heavy equipment shed to experience a day in the life of a logger.

Provides an education-based experience while cultivating an environment of fun, growth and community. Programming focuses on social and emotional development, Y values, positive habits, S.T.E.A.M, Power Up, and much more. Registration opens early March.

A new early childhood education option for ages 4 & 5. A day camp running from June through August. Enroll for at least 75% of the weeks, and you'll get a free family membership to the Y.

YMCA Camp Icaghowan

By living with other campers, they learn to work together and demonstrate the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. They offer a traditional, well-rounded overnight camp experience as well as specialty camps with focuses on leadership, teen extreme outdoor excursions, canoe trips, and horse-back riding.

YMCA Camp Manitou

An overnight camp with programs for youth entering grades 2-10. Campers will learn new skills, play large group games, and have opportunities to go swimming or boating every day. Located on the shores of Long Lake in Chippewa County. Campers learn values like honesty, responsibility, caring, and respect in a unique outdoor environment.

YMCA Summer Programming

YMCA Day Academy partners with the ECASD to combat summer learning loss. Programs are available for ages 5-12. Programs book very early. Covers a variety of core curriculum: math, music, science, engineering, literature, social studies, art, swimming, and physical activities.

The YMCA Sports Center offers a fully supervised day camp with different weekly themes. Field trips, games, crafts, and educational activities that keep children physically active and learning.
